FoodBank Manager's Inventory Module is designed from the ground up. We worked with agencies like yours that provided valuable insight to design a system that is relevant to what you need. Most inventory systems are too complex because they are designed to operate a store. The agencies that provided feedback to us for the developement of this module say that a pantry does not need a complex system to meet an agency's inventory needs.
We have included important features like Packages. A package is easier to give to a household than twenty (20) individual items.
We allow you to use the SKU's already on the products. This is accomplished by allowing many SKU's to a single product item. Allowing you to have a more generic set of items and allows for a lot less management.
You can use your keyboard or a scanner to operate our Inventory Module. It is platform independent and can be used on any device. The Inventory Module also has a Point of Sale (POS) Module for easy checkout of your stock. We provide many reports that give you the data needed for your internal reporting as well as any upstream reporting needed by your parent food bank or government program.
Volunteers find our Inventory Module easy to use and simple to learn.
Inventory is included in any "30 Day Free Trial". This way you can get a good feel for the Inventory module before you are required to pay for it after the trial period expires.
Note: The Inventory Module is an optional item and is not required to use FoodBank Manager.
Below is an Inventory Demonstration Video that includes normal use of the system and a detailed walk through of the Inventory Module. This demonstration is using clothing, but is used the same way for food or any other product you wish to track with the Inventory Module.
